The TP-125 is the new Thorens Special Edition limited production tonearm made of carbon fibre, steel and aluminium. Custom-made by Da Vinci Audio Labs of Switzerland to commemorate Thorens' 125th anniversary.

Feickert's mission was to enhance the technical base of the Woodpecker to increase sound quality. Running two tonearms was a requirement but they also implemented some new ideas on the drive. Newly refined controller software drives two motors simultaneously in a kind of master-slave configuration.

By adding new controller software and 2 motors, the Blackbird exhibits less wow and flutter and lower bearing rumble. The Blackbird was made for vinyl lovers who wish to run two tonearms on one deck. Dr. Feickert may have made the simple upscale, but they managed to maintain the ease of use!
