The CD2000 MkIII uses a massive aluminium floating chassis and a Delrin decoupling system of the cd drive. Furthermore, our unique suspension and disc clamping systems originally used in our analogue turntables, have been adapted for use in our “State of the Art” CD Players.

CD Turntable Interface

Because the CD vibrates slightly due to the high rotational spin speed of the CD mechanism this vibration problem or "chatter problem" had to be addressed. Oracle Audio created an interface system that effectively controls this unwanted vibration through an innovative combination of materials and their interaction.

CD Coupling System

Chatter is a persistent feature of the compact disc, and it causes a major problem. The chatter or wobble of the disc causes the laser to lack focal clarity which results in distortion or misread information. This in turn causes the error correction circuitry to have to operate and sometimes to excess.

Boulder’s 1008 phono preamplifier brings superb

Inputs and outputs utilize high quality fully balanced connectors. Audio circuitry is dual mono for total isolation of left and right channels, and the gain stage is a proprietary discrete design that achieves incredibly low noise levels.

Denon has been making cartridges since the 1960s, and they are still hand-wound at the Denon Audio Works Factory in Japan. This update on the award-winning DL-103 retains the smooth sound of the original, but adds extra detail retrieval with its precision-wound 6N copper coils. The Denon DL-103R manages to be a reviewer-approved moving coil cartridge at a very affordable price.

Very low playing hours and still in excellent condition. Comes with stylus protector and mounting screws.
