The Mavros XLR uses the very highest quality ‘6N’ (99.99997% purity) copper manufactured using the OCC ‘Ohno Continuous Cast’ technique. In the manufacture of Mavros, we maximise the copper’s conductivity by ensuring that there is typically one grain in approximately 125 metres of conductor, allowing the signal a continuous unbroken path –in practice, the signal has a faster, cleaner and more direct path to follow.

The cable consists of a pair of conductors, each made up from six bundles of 12 multi-conductor wires, plus a thicker centre wire. This in turn is covered by a continuous copper/Mylar™ electrostatic screen with copper shielding braid, ensuring minimal susceptibility to RF interference and noise.

Atlas use cold-weld terminations wherever possible, including our current generation ‘dark Chrome’ XLR connectors. By reducing the number of materials and break points in the signal path, our objective is to minimise discontinuity and loss in the signal path, resulting in more consistent construction and improved audio performance.

Three-way speaker system with Mini-Horn loaded silk dome tweeter and two ER (Extra Rigid) paper cone bass drivers which are known for a fast transient response, sound clarity and tight bass. Combining materials is nice, but we have gone even further. We have modelled every surface in the speaker and made vibration analysis of it as a whole, and noticed the importance of joints between surfaces. It is remarkable what modern software can do. There is a very big difference between a simple joint and our Self-Locking joint. Without the Self-Locking joints, the analysis exposed huge flexibility in the joint areas which acts as hinges, after improving our joining technique the cabinet became virtually monolithic. The key concept here is that all surfaces act as one monolithic sandwich. The vibrations travel inside material until the joint is reached then it reflects back because the weak hinge-like joint can't transfer energy any further. Surfaces joined together in a locked joint becomes one system working together. The result is clear, tight and fast bass also vivid mids.

Vintage KEF LS3/5A monitor speakers. In excellent condition.

An 11 cm KEF B110C type SP1228 unit is used for the middle and low frequencies up to 3 kHz, and a T27SP1032 tweeter is used for the high frequencies.

In order to completely seal the inside of the enclosure and make it airtight, PVC sheet is used on the edge of the woofer, and the unit is decoupled and sealed.

The network section consists of 26 carefully selected high-quality parts. Each speaker is individually adjusted by computer simulation, and the characteristics of the entire system are strictly controlled within ± 0.25 db of the BBC specification.

The front baffle is made of felt material around the unit to eliminate interference caused by vibration of the cabinet.

The enclosure is made of 12-mm-thick birch material, which is well known as a piano material and has excellent strength. In addition, beech wood is used as a splint for the joint part to increase the internal strength.

The Audio Note (UK) Conquest Mono Power Amplifiers are Pure Class A Parallel Singled Ended valve amplifiers that use a pair of the highly regarded 300B triode valves per channel, producing a level of performance that is radically superior to the vast majority of current designs.

The FLUX-Turbo is a unique, completely newly developed device to quickly and easily free the record from dust and dirt. The Vinyl Turbo combines a carbon brush with an integrated, extremely powerful suction system.

For this purpose, a special cyclone with replaceable filter was developed, which makes it possible to realize a strong suction performance despite the small housing size (dimension 125 x 122 x 64mm). Surface dust, as well as the dirt that sits deep in the groove, is extracted without residue within a few revolutions.

Only when the LP is free of dust can the pickup system scan the record without interference and distortion.
